Gondwana Republic Party Youth Front held a massive protest in Rajendragram, making strong demands on the government regarding tribal rights and public issues. Anuppur (Madhya Pradesh). The Gondwana Republic Party (GGP) Youth Front, District Anuppur, organized a massive one-day protest and memorandum program on Wednesday at the Swa Sahayata Bhavan (Durga Stage) in Rajendragram, Pushparajgarh, in the district. The program lasted from 12 noon to 5 pm, and was attended by a large number of party officials, workers, and local villagers. The program began with the slogan "Jai Seva - Jai Johar," which resonated with tribal unity, rights awareness, and organizational enthusiasm throughout the area. Several senior party officials, from the top leadership to the district level, were present on the occasion. National General Secretary of the Gondwana Republic Party, Kunwar Balveer Singh Tomar, was the chief guest. Special guests included National Organization Minister Harendra Singh Marko, National President of the Youth Front Anil Singh Dhurve, State Organization Minister Tej Pratap Singh Uikey, State Vice President Durga Singh Korram, and several other senior leaders. The organization also had a strong presence at the district level, with District President Chandrika Markam, District General Secretary Mahesh Kushram, former District President Pritam Singh Maravi, Youth Front District President Virendra Tikam, Awadh Singh Dhurve, Block President of the Gompa Pushpa Pushprajgarh, Block President Prayag Tekam, and GSU Media Incharge Bhupendra Singh Patta prominently present. During the protest, speakers extensively addressed issues related to the fundamental problems, rights, and regional development of the tribal community. The most prominent demand at the event was the cancellation of the Upper Narmada Project Dam (Shobhapur). Protesters stated that the project would adversely impact the region's water resources, forests, and land, and increase the displacement of local communities. They also demanded that elections be conducted using ballot paper instead of EVMs, which was presented as a sign of democratic transparency. The organization demanded an immediate halt to illegal crushing and mining activities in the district. The demand for providing forest rights certificates to farmers occupying forest land since December 13, 2005, was also highlighted. Speakers emphasized the need for effective implementation of the PESA Act, stating that proper development of tribal areas is impossible without empowering Gram Sabhas. Strong displeasure was also expressed at the protest site regarding corruption and administrative irregularities. Speakers alleged that bribery and corruption have become a common problem in many government offices in the district, and this must be stopped immediately. Serious concern was also expressed regarding the lack of drinking water, electricity, and other basic amenities in rural areas. In addition, the protesters demanded a complete ban on illegal liquor sales, land leases and the allotment of two acres of agricultural land to landless tribals, and an end to the alleged exploitation and displacement of tribals in the name of development projects. Speakers stated that the organization will continue to fight to protect the constitutional rights of the tribal community and will expand the movement further if necessary.
