The North Pennines - Hiking onto dangerous territory...
With the weather finally breaking I decide to hike someone I have wanted to do for a while, the hills and valleys of Upper Teesdale. I start my hike at Forest In Teesdale before heading over to Cronkley Pasture, heading upstream before meeting Falcon Clints. I then decide to head onto dangerous territory, will I achieve my goals?.. I return to Merrygill and ascend up Man Gate to to the top of Cronkley Scar, where I find some very nice examples of Spring Gentians. I return to the car whilst detouring and visiting White Force, a waterfall with an unusual look...
