The session Showcasing India: The Concept and Creation of the India Pavilion provided an insider’s look at the extensive research, planning, and visualization behind the pavilion's design. From the grand facade and immersive exhibitions to the India Stage and curated bookstore, the panel explored how each element is interconnected to reflect India's vast diversity. A key highlight was the discussion on the official Mascot, which symbolizes the Indian family as a group of lifelong readers, celebrating the spirit of collective reading. The panel featured the design team Nijoo Dubey, Ruchita Rajan, and Prathima M Raghavendra, alongside Colombian documentary photographer Emilio Aparicio Rodríguez. The session was moderated by Shri Kumar Vikram, Chief Editor and Joint Director, National Book Trust, India.
