There's a lot to choose from, this is just one of our opinions if you're on the fence about a Glock vs a 1911 as your first handgun purchase. Glocks are very hard to beat for the cost and durability. 1911s are my favorite, but if I could only carry one handgun ever again in the field, it would be a Glock.
