Production Sound Cart - How We Configured Our Sound Cart For The Studio
We tried to pack all the lavs and recorder into an Orca OR-28 sound bag but it did not make sense. Trying to operate 8 lavs and recorder, time code and IEM system from a tiny portable bag was a mess. So we picked up a media cart for $130 and began adding our equipment to it using nuts, bolts and velcro until we had the perfect sound recording cart for our studio. This video is about how we configured out cart and why we put the tools on it. We used Diety Theos lavs and TC-1 timecode generators, Zoom Fn8 Pro and a $75 android tablet from amazon. Hopefully this video will help you as you figure out how to set up your own sound recording cart.
