transforming CURTAINS into vintage inspired clothes for spring! sewing bloomer capris 🌷 sewing vlog

Hi everyone! Today I am sewing look 2 from my sewing mood board. I took inspiration from the brand my mum made it and also Pinterest. I upcycled 2 thrifted curtains and made 4 pieces with them! I love how everything turned out, thank you for being here! The babydoll top is by Pattern Shop by Ames https://www.etsy.com/listing/43258319... The cap sleeve top is the Newlook 6892 option D. I found this secondhand https://simplicity.com/new-look/n6892 For the strapless top I cut 2 rectangles 23" long and 16" wide. I took my waist measurement and divided that by 2, then multiplied that number by 1.5. Then added 2" to the total number for extra seam allowance.
