Misima Island Local String Band with Beautiful Ukulele Sounds - The Pacific Islands Music Styles

The Local String Band performance here is from the Misima Island in the Louisiade Archipelagoes area, in Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea. The archipelago is made of many tiny islands, atolls and reefs, but yes, also very rich in its marine ecosystem. Thus plenty of marine resources. The songs are sung in the Misima Language as well. The bands music is a typical traditional Pacific Islands music and style performances with the acoustic guitars and the famous ukulele and strumming, producing the colorful sounds, conducive for peaceful relaxation, and of course in the dancing performances with the swaying hips. The final video showed the string band performance and the dancing by the women was taken in my village on my Brooker island, when I put up a feast, and my relatives, friends and in-laws came to assist me with the pigs and the garden food stuffs and etc. The music usually is performed at social gatherings such as parties and ceremonies, string band competitions and etc. Hope this is just enough to give you the peaceful viewing, relaxation and as personal entertainment. Enjoy your viewing, listening, relaxation and dancing.
