Suite access, an NFL superstar, and SPECIAL GIFTS from the dugout at PNC Park
THIS. WHOLE. DAY. WAS. NUTS. I had early access, got interviewed on TV, and then got hooked up with lineup cards (!!) by a friendly ballboy named Jake in the 3rd base dugout. Was I annoyed that the afternoon rain wiped out batting practice? Well, yeah, but that feeling didn't last long because cool things kept happening. Catching baseballs? Seeing Juan Soto launch a home run? Getting some free food? Yes, yes, and yes! Najee Harris. That's the NFL player that I saw thanks to a bunch of guys who recognized me and invited me up to their suite. One of those guys was 14-year-old Jase Grilli, a future major leaguer whose father, Jason Grilli, and grandfather, Steve Grilli, both pitched in the majors. They were in the suite too, and I got them to sign a baseball, along with former Pirate Manny Sanguillén, which I will be giving away here on YouTube as a contest/prize. As I mentioned in this video, there are three things you need to do to be eligible to win this ball: 1) Like this video. 2) Leave a comment. 3) Subscribe to me. I will choose someone randomly and announce the winner on April 26, 2022. I'll announce it on my Instagram story (@zack_hample) and also update this description with the person's name (or their channel name) so stay tuned and check back in here. UPDATE -- The winner is Ben Levin! This is Ben's channel: / @ben_levin16 Thanks to everyone who participated and stay tuned for more giveaways. What to see all the lineup cards that I've gotten over the years? Click here: https://www.zackhample.com/lineupcards Did you like the t-shirt I was wearing? If so, you can get one here: https://www.zackhample.com/merch As for my TV interview on KDKA, the segment still isn't done but will be soon, and I'll post that link here. As promised, here's a list of the six baseballs that I got: 1) tossed from the 3rd base dugout by Jake the ballboy 2) thrown in left field by Pirates bullpen catcher Raul Hernandez 3) thrown from shallow left field into foul territory by Pirates pitcher Dillon Peters 4) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Josiah Gray 5) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Víctor Arano 6) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Hunter Harvey So yeah, lots of toss-ups, but that's what happens when there's no BP. This video was filmed on April 16, 2022 by "Fenway Chris" (@yonnernyc) and it was edited by Zac Gutherman (@zg_films). Many thanks to them and also to YOU for watching.
