Zojirushi Home Bakery Mini Breadmaker BB-HAC10 Honest Review

This video is NOT sponsored and it is just my personal opinion. I have very few kitchen gadgets at my home. Part of it is I am very lazy, and I want to keep as little items in my kitchen countertop as possible. The less item on the counter, the less cleaning for me! I bought this Zojirushi bread machine from King Arthur at $250 back in 2020. 5 years passed and I think it is now a good time for the review. As you can tell, it is a very reliable appliance (which is expected as it was made by Zojirushi). The model I am using is BB-HAC10, which can make a 1 lbs loaf sufficient for 1-3 person each day. There is a bigger version which takes more countertop room and will be a better choice if you have a bigger household (that have similar taste profile). For us, we are so lazy we did not even bother to slice the bread. We chop it into pieces, and we just dig in with a fork (no slicing / crumbs!) What are the benefits of the bread machine? 1) You only need to measure the ingredients, and the machine will do the rest. 2) It is healthy choice as you can control the ingredients you put in. The best part is no preservatives. 3) You can control how moist / soft the bread you want! 4) Freshly baked bread smells more amazing when you don't have to watch the oven that heat up the whole house (especially summer in California)! If I have a choice again, I might consider buy a bigger machine. There are other perks in the bigger model because of the dispense basket (so you don't even need to time yourself to add raisins or nuts later). I mean baking 2 loafs of bread each day sometimes felt like a chore even though it technically takes only 5 minutes per loaf of actual work (the machine will do the rest). The small one got it's benefit of smaller counter space. I mean that cute little bread is good if everyone gets a loaf of their favorite bread (and let's face it, the household never agrees on the same flavor). Eating the whole thing like an animal on a plate also means less crumbs on the floor!
