Returning to Steven Bug’s label for this No Sleep EP, Cole delivers 3 more reasons to get excited. The title track is a trippy burner, with driving drums and delay-soaked stabs and chords. Gareth himself explains his process as “I set out to tell a story and vibe through the deep stabs and then create some dynamic moments in a club without resorting to any recognisable vocals and sounds. I really liked the feeling I got from the stabs so built my track around them.” Distinction is a touch harder, with a similar sound palette and a hypnotic vibe. Lasty, Dynamic is perhaps the deepest of the three, with an evolving synth hook that draws you into its groove. #deephouse #housemusic #electronic
