Panel Discussion: Polyglots at Work

Foreign-language skills have applications in many professions, some of them obvious and many of them less obvious. Hear from several polyglots who use their skills in unusual ways at work — from playing popular cartoon characters to fighting human trafficking! Speakers include performer Laurence Bouvard, who does multilingual voice work for cartoons, ad campaigns, videogames and audiobooks; consultant Stefanie Trice Gill, who helps companies design systems to improve multilingual customer service; and Richard Simcott, who is head of languages at the company Emoderation (Now called The Social Element).
