My Cancer Diagnosis Led to Crippling Depression & Anxiety | Trevor’s Stage 4 Colon Cancer Story
This “Cancer Friends” episode with Andrew and Esther Schorr, focuses on Trevor Maxwell who diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2018. He shares how his diagnosis led to crippling depression and anxiety. To help dig himself out of his depression, he knew he needed help and realized he couldn’t do it by himself. He then started to get counseling and it helped him get better. But that’s when he realized, there aren’t many support spaces for men with cancer and that’s when he started “Man Up To Cancer,” and found his purpose once again. The interview has only been edited for clarity.
