Song Wat Road: Where Bangkok’s Past Forever Feels Alive!

Everyone knows Bangkok's Chinatown, but tonight I explored the neighborhood right next door that's quickly becoming one of the city's most exciting destinations: Song Wat Road. My journey began at Maha Pho Riverview, where I enjoyed beautiful views of the Chao Phraya River and watched the city come alive as the sun began to set. From there, I wandered through the historic streets of Song Wat, a district where century-old shophouses now house trendy cafés, creative spaces, and modern businesses. I stopped by Soul Song Wat, one of the area's popular gathering spots, before continuing my walk through the neighborhood to discover the blend of old and new that makes Song Wat so unique. Along the way, I visited NEW | OLD Song Wat, a creative space that perfectly reflects the district's transformation while preserving its rich heritage. A place called Across 100, I enjoyed a slice of pizza in one of Bangkok's most up-and-coming neighborhoods. To finish the evening, I headed over to ReFlex Riverside on Pao Prasit, where I relaxed by the river and took in the atmosphere of a side of Bangkok many visitors never get to experience.
