How I broke out of the "Normie" Gamer Cycle
Recently, I've seen numerous posts on social media stating that "There is nothing to play." This has made me think back to a couple of years ago when I felt this exact same way. That is until I realized I had not broadened my horizons and just reluctantly loaded up Apex Legends everyday. i.e.) what was comfortable and known. This all changed once I had a conversation with my best friend and I started to branch out. As a result, I've had the best/most enjoyable couple years in gaming I've ever had. This video is for those who felt like me and are dissatisfied their their current game rotation. This video is not meant to be a diss on anyone who plays the so called "normie" games I list here and if you enjoy playing these games, I want to encourage you to keep doing so. However, if you are not enjoying your current lineup, or if you don't have a lineup, hopefully, this video can help you point you in the right direction into enjoying gaming once again. I think really the key word is "diversity" more so than "unknown" or "discrete." I try to recommend games in this video from various different genres possible rather than naming "discrete" or lesser-known games. Thank you for watching!
