This song is inspired by distant memories of a melody that circulated among Albanian teenagers and young people in 1988–1989. Only a few verses have survived, engraved in memory, but with them a special feeling: the innocence of age, the first romantic emotions, big dreams and the mysteries of the world that was just beginning to open before our eyes. I have always intended to bring this song to the public and I finally succeeded. More than a song, "PIRAMIDA E BABILONISę" is a memory of a generation. A return to the days when songs were sung in groups, in schoolyards, in neighborhood alleys and on long summer evenings, hanging out with and without canoes at all, with each other. A time when a few simple verses were enough to ignite the imagination and express feelings that we still did not know how to name.
