Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons - "Dark Days" live, Summer Breeze Festival l 2018 l Rockpalast

What started as a fun project turned into something serious: What began as a Rolling Stones cover band led by Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell and his three sons evolved over the years into a band with original songs. In 2018, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons performed at the Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbühl, where Rockpalast recorded their concert, including their song “Dark Days.” 🎵 The “Melodic & Hard Rock” playlist is available here:    • 🎵 Melodic & Hard Rock   Phil Campbell, former Motörhead guitarist, performed at his son Todd’s (guitar) 30th birthday alongside Todd and his two other sons, Tyla (bass) and Dane (drums). Neil Starr initially handled the vocals, and together they covered Rolling Stones songs. Following the death of Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons began writing their own songs—in the heavy rock style of Motörhead. Their first, self-titled EP was released in 2016. In 2017, they played major shows across Europe as the opening act for Guns N’ Roses and at numerous festivals. At the end of the year, they signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast, and their debut album, “The Age Of Absurdity,” followed in 2018. After winning “Best Debut Album of 2018” at the Metal Hammer Awards, the band immediately embarked on a major tour, including opening for Slash. Their second album, “We’re The Bastards,” followed in 2020. In 2021, Joel Peters took over on vocals for Neil Starr. 📸 Thumbnail photos: WDR/Thomas von der Heiden #philcampbell #rock #rockpalast ----- 🎬 More Rockpalast: ► Rockpalast in the ARD Media Library: https://www.ardmediathek.de/sendung/r... ► Rockpalast website and archive: https://www.wdr.de/tv/rockpalast/
