Born and raised in the Buckeye State (Ohio), I've now lived in Alabama longer than where I grew up. Alabama is a fascinating place, with a deep history and a geography, where the cities are so diverse, you might think they are in different states! Yes, Alabama does have beaches, something I'm not sure I knew even into young adulthood!
