Ron Casey v Frank Hyde (1979)
Ron Casey is most well known for his on-air TV punch up with Normie Rowe. In 1979 he was involved in a heated verbal exchange with Frank Hyde on the World of Sport show. Casey was a noted critic of referees whereas Hyde was a supporter and defender of officialdom. This was sparked up by Hyde's newspaper article during the week where Casey took offence too.
