Many female insects attract a mate over long distances by using scented pheromones. Insect Science’s PheroLure®️ range uses synthesised pheromones to mimic this natural process, attracting male insect pests and trapping them before they can mate and start a new generation. PheroLures are used in combination with traps to attract and kill insect pests that cause harm the commercial crops and home gardens. To determine whether you're plants are prone to certain insects, we suggest using lures and traps to monitor the number and activity of specific insects on a certain crop at a point in time, as well as the stage of their life cycle as this will enable you to make timely decisions before the pests do extensive damage.
