In this tutorial, I discuss process mapping using the BPMN 2.0 method including the main elements of the BPMN notation, BPMN rules, and best practices, as well as a case study for the BPMN example!. A process map (flowchart) is a tool that graphically shows the inputs, actions, and outputs of a business process or workflow in a visually simple map of the process. The purpose of process mapping is to help teams understand the workflow during process analysis.
