This is the most useful trick for crochet toys on wooden rings in my opinion and it will revolutionize your technique for crocheting toys on wooden rings. I used a teddy bear head that I worked with you in this video:    • Croșetăm Ursuleț Amigurumi pe Inel de Lemn   However, I changed the decreasing row from 18 single crochets to 12 single crochets, and the difference is that I worked the entire row in the back loop of the short crochets from the previous row. We will even do the decreasing in the back loop, leaving aside the invisible decreasing rule that we use for amigurumi toys. This row will not be visible when the crocheted toy is finished anyway. Crocheting this row in the back loop creates an edge, which will make it much easier for us to sew the toy's head onto the wooden ring. This trick, in addition to facilitating the toy assembly process, also gives greater stability to our amigurumi toy.
