JOSHUA TREE CAMPING -- INSANE WINDS!!! - Black Rock Canyon
Spent three days "camping" at Black Rock Canyon campground in Joshua Tree. the Santa Anna winds were in FULL effect. The win was constantly kicking up dirt, so much so that it was getting in to the tent. after a few minutes of reading or looking at the phone (there is service here) a layer of dirt would form. So we couldnt do much. we ate and hung out in the car. The town of yucca Valley was experiencing power outtages so most of the stores were closed.
