This session supports Career Leaders and Senior Leaders to develop high-quality, impactful careers programmes that align with whole-school priorities. Staff will explore how to achieve this through the completion of the internal leadership reviews (ILR) which will evaluate and strengthen their provision, ensuring careers education is strategically embedded across the school. The session also focuses on Gatsby Benchmarks 5 and 6, offering clear, practical guidance on designing meaningful employer encounters and workplace experiences. Emphasis is placed on purposeful planning, preparation, and reflection, helping ensure activities go beyond participation and genuinely enhance student learning and aspirations. Participants will leave with actionable strategies and resources to help create a more progressive and sustainable careers programme.
