Grant Howlett – 1955 MG Magnette ZA

This delightful MG was owned from new by Grant’s grandfather and it remains in entirely original and unrestored condition. The only additions, which were made in period, are an electric screen washer, parking rods on the front wings and extra wheel trims. “It has still only covered fifty four thousand miles and I enjoy driving it whenever I can. I took it with me to the United States for ten years, where the engine was rebuilt and fitted with an unleaded cylinder head.” Inside, the wood and leather is in lovely condition and there’s the original HMV radio specified when new.
