There, among the mountains and silence, the shepherd Ivan Vasilyevich Matsola works fruitfully - a man who has been engaged in sheep breeding for 26 years, continuing the business of his grandfather on his mother's side. Since childhood, he has been herding collective farm sheep - over 300 lambs on Krasna. This summer he had 260 sheep, and during our visit there were already about 200 left - because by November 8, everyone must go to the village. We visited the separation of sheep, when the owners take their animals, talked with people, heard the magical melodies of the sopilka and Carpathian singing, which sounds simply from the soul. Ivan Vasilyevich also has two horses, cows and a large farm. This is an extremely sincere, interesting and colorful person - a real Carpathian shepherd who preserves ancient traditions.
