Some people sometimes use beeswax, which is excellent for making ointments, for example, but it's not ideal for a moisturizing cream because it can't hold much water. Personally, I use an emulsifier like Xyliance 1, which I melt in a double boiler with oil before adding the water-based ingredients. Today, I'd like to share an even simpler recipe with you. It's a step that only takes a few seconds and will give you all the benefits of a good moisturizing cream.
