It is not KETO You will follow this protocol for 40 days followed by 20 days of regular Keto Eat in an 8 hour eating window. Eat 2 meals. Each meal consists of 1 protein choice, 3 vegetable choices, and 1 fruit choice. Drinks can be consumed at any time, even outside of your eating window. You will consume no added fats during the 40 day Hyper Ketosis time period. This means you will not cook with fats. You are not allowed any dairy during the 40 day Hyper Ketosis protocol besides the 1X/week allowance of a serving of cottage for your protein option. Weigh yourself every morning. If you go 2 days without losing, immediately do a Reset Day. You have 3 choices for a Reset Day: 1) 24 hour water fat 2) Fast all day then have an 8-10 ounce fatty ribeye for supper with an apple 3) Eat 6 apples throughout the day whenever you want - not limited to any eating window Low-fat Proteins - 4 oz Sirloin Tri-tip Eye of round Top loin Arm roast Filet mignon 93/7 ground beef Skinless Turkey Skinless Pheasant Flank steak Bison Elk Deer Skinless chicken breast Skinless chicken leg Skinless chicken thigh Seafood - 6 oz White fish Cod Flounder Albacore Tuna Shrimp Crab Lobster Scallops Halibut Swordfish Optional protein allowed 1X/week: 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese Vegetables 3 servings per meal All squash except butternut Tomatoes Cucumbers Lettuce Mushrooms Onions Green Beans Hearts Of Palm Endive Cabbage Celery Fennel Collard Greens Leeks Asparagus Artichokes Spinach Radishes Jalapenos Bell peppers Pumpkin Cauliflower & Broccoli allowed 1X/week Fruits 1 serving per meal Apples Oranges Pears Plums All berries Cherries Apricots Lemon Lime Peaches Grapefruit Watermelon 1X/week Drinks **can be sweetened with stevia Water Black coffee ** Unsweetened Tea ** Electrolytes without sweeteners ** Zevia soda Unsweetened seltzer water ** Smoothies made with your fruit/veggies/zevia from meal Notes: Weigh Daily - If you do not lose weight for 2 days in a row, do a Reset Day Cook with fats during free broths instead of fat No soy sauce! Cook with Bragg's Liquid Aminos (NOT COCONUT AMINOS) If hungry between meals, extra vegetables are allowed Seasonings are allowed but check ingredients for added sugars or fats You can use vinegars, dressings, etc just check added sugars or fats. Simple Girl Dressings are a good choice. Avoid strenuous exercises during the 40 day protocol to alleviate inflammation. You can still walk, swim, bike, rebound, etc. The day before you start the protocol you can do a Load day. You can eat whatever you want. No restrictions. (I chose not to do this) If you are going to repeat a cyle of 1 & 2 again, you can do another Load Day between finishing Phase 2 and the beginning of Phase 1. The last 3 days of Phase 1 are considered your Ramp Up days. Day 38 - You DOUBLE your PROTEIN at EACH MEAL. Day 39 - You add back in FATS Day 40 - Omit your Eating Window. The next day is Day 1 of Phase 2. It is Traditional Keto with 75% fat 20 % protein 5% carbs. Try to maintain current weight within a 5 pound range to create a new set point.
