NORTHWEST PASSAGE WEEK SIX WRAP UP - Paamiut to Nuuk, Greenland

This week we leave our arrival point of Paamiut, and head north toward Nuuk, using the mostly uncharted inner lead routes. We tick off a few firsts on our Arctic Bingo, including an incredible example of a tidewater glacier - the Allumesat / Bjørnesund - a ‘blue’ iceberg, and some thick glacial flour. Treated to some incredible weather and smooth ‘sailing’, we anchor in out of the way bays and fiords to make the most of the beautiful scenery on the West Coast. Next week we leave Nuuk and head toward the famous Greenland sled dog town of Sisimiut.
