One Life to Live 6/3/1991

[Note: Video is jumpy and quality is poor. Several sharp cuts with missing time.] Bo brings some files over to Viki’s house and Viki realizes Alex is no longer in the kitchen. Bo asks what Alex is doing there, and Viki says she probably went to open the gift he sent her. Bo says he didn’t send Alex any gifts. In the library, Alex returns in time to see Jessica has opened the box and the powder container. Alex takes it from Jessica, spilling some of the powder on the sleeve of her dress. The powder immediately begins burning a hole in Alex’s jacket, and Alex screams. Bo and Viki come running. Bo helps Alex remove her jacket while Viki calls Larry. Tina tries to go after Renee, but Max blocks her way and demands to know what’s going on. Tina says she can tell him later, but he won’t let her go. He sits her down and tries to reason with her, but the second Max turns his back, Tina leaves. Renee continues to hold DuAnn at gunpoint, saying she is done being blackmailed. DuAnn tries to talk her way out of it, saying Renee doesn’t want to go to prison, but Renee is undeterred. Tina arrives and DuAnn uses the distraction to leave the stables. Larry says Alex will be OK. Alex reassures Jessica that this wasn’t her fault. [~10 Minutes Missing] Cassie comes to Llanfair to tell Bo and Viki there’s more to the story with the commissioner of the parks department; she’s convinced there’s a reason they are getting the runaround. Only after blurting out all of that does Cassie notice Alex’s bandaged arm. Bo says they believe Rex, her stalker, has struck again. Bo says he’s going to take Alex home before the painkiller Larry gave her knocks her out completely. Cassie offers to go get some of Alex’s things and bring them over to Bo’s place. Asa laments that he doesn’t know what’s going on in his own household. Carlo tells Tony to stay out of his and Stephanie’s business. [~5 Minutes Missing] Bo takes Alex back to his house. Alex suggests they watch a movie, but Bo says Larry insisted she go right to bed. Cassie arrives with Alex’s things, and Bo and Cassie go to check on the guest bedroom, over Alex’s objections. [~5 Minutes Missing] Bo tells Cassie that Alex seems to be asleep. They go back to working on her story. Around the corner, Alex eavesdrops on their conversation with a sour expression on her face. Renee comes home to find Asa waiting for her. He asks her whether Tina has gotten her mixed up in some mess again, but she says that’s not the case. She apologizes for upsetting him earlier, but doesn’t give much in the way of answers. Asa says he wants to help in whatever way he can, to get her out of whatever trouble she’s in. Renee says there’s nothing he can do to help. Renee repeats that she is deeply sorry before leaving a puzzled Asa alone on the couch. Tina returns to the stables (to find the gun?) but doesn’t find what she’s looking for.
