If your oven works on the grill and base element settings but not on the fan oven setting, you might have a problem with the fan oven element. 👉 Our detailed video is applicable to several models, including Hotpoint, Ariston, Indesit, and Whirlpool cooker ovens. We'll demonstrate how to diagnose both modern ovens controlled by circuit boards and older ovens operated by a selector switch and thermostat. 👇 The first step is always to disconnect the oven from the electricity supply for safety. We suggest removing the door for easier access, especially if you're also cleaning the inside of the glass door. There is a video below for you to learn how to remove the Hotpoint oven glass door. Next, remove the oven shelf and any other interior components. ⚙️ If the fan oven element is visibly damaged or open circuit, you will need to be replace it.
