The Home Secretary is announcing new powers for the police which well allow them to take a firmer stance on anti-social behaviour. They'll be able to immediately seize e-scooters being ridden on pavements as well as cars being used for street racing. Police will also be told to crackdown on antisocial behaviour in public places such as drinking, drug taking and nuisance neighbours. Perstitent offenders could even be sent to prison for two years - and they could be banned from town centres and high streets.
