Heltec T114 | Building a Pocket Sized nRF MeshCore Companion | Meshtastic
This video is not sponsored. I bought everything myself. In this video I build a Heltec Mesh Node T114 from the parts into a working MeshCore companion node. What makes the T114 a bit different from a lot of nodes out there is that it runs on a Nordic nRF52840 instead of an ESP32, paired with an SX1262 LoRa radio. The nRF is the low power route, so it sips power and is a good fit for a node you carry with you and leave running. If you want a compact, low power companion to get on the mesh and start messaging, the T114 is a solid option.
