Native plant restoration at Sonoma County Regional Parks

We partner with the Laguna Foundation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Native Plant Society on projects to improve park ecosystems. Replacing non-native plants with native species is essential for supporting wildlife, recreation and reducing the impacts of climate change. Thanks to Measure M – Parks for All, we've made significant progress on large-scale restoration at Hood Mountain Regional Park and Preserve and Doran Regional Park, as highlighted in this video collaboration with Northern California Public Media (KRCB).
