United Cutlery Museum Collection Anduril review!
There weren't many reviews out there yet of the new Museum Collection Anduril, so I wanted to do one when mine finally came in. $550 from Castle Kon. My overall impression is, it is not bad. I am not as in love with it as I hoped to be, but it is pretty nice. The hollow ground blade is beautiful. but floppy because it thinner with no distal taper. But it isn't supposed to be functional, so whatever. the Guard and pommel are gorgeous and very solid/real. I gave it a 7/10 overall for what it is, a gorgeous wall-hanger. then I compare it to other options out there. DSA, Ryansword, Ronin Katana, AND soon Swordier all make a FUNCTIONAL version. conclusion: if you need to have specifically the UC MC version, then get it, you will be happy. if you just want a nice Anduril, but functionality is more important, go with Swordier or Ryansword. theirs are lighter and more accurate than the DSA or Ronin Katana versions.
