13th June 2026. An unexpected day trip to Lewes dropped us right into the middle of the Sussex Festival of Dance, celebrating the vibrant tradition of Morris dancing. Dating back to the 15th century, this English folk art features dancers in distinctive costumes and bells performing to lively music.
