Predictably, he explores a range of deep house styles over the course of a four-track EP that's both quietly confident and largely impressive. There's a real bump to 'Sense of Swing', despite the presence of warm, fluid keys, while 'Propter' successfully joins the dots between loopy tech-house and shimmering deepness. The techno influence is more obvious on 'Redskap' and 'Ulux', both of which derive potency from the hypnotic nature of Putman's immaculately produced groove.
