Old Classic modernized KONE Traction Elevators/Lifts at Scandic Hotel Espoo, Espoo, Finland

Location: Scandic Hotel Espoo, Espoo, Finland Brand: KONE Type: Traction Year installed/modernized: Late 1971 (Completed in 1972) / 2003 Floors served: 6 (*1*, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) Note. There are ONLY 2 lifts at this hotel - just these two (I couldn't find the staff lift anywhere). No key card needed. They are a bit small (the capacity is just 6 persons or 480 kgs), and they don't reach the basement floor. The lifts had either KONE plop-out buttons or white buttons, which were in use from 1971 until early 1985. There were lamp floor indicators in the cabs (maybe on the 1st floor, too), and the automatic doors still look original today (they had these old-style sensors from the very beginning - no bumpers, and the door motors and sensors have been renewed). This year, the modernization marks its 10th anniversary.
