Today I visit Marco's Pizza® to revisit their NEW NY Style Pizza! ($13.99) Marco's Pizza officially launched its NEW NY Style Pizza, an authentic, limited-time offering designed to recreate the classic, oversized New York City slice experience. To develop the recipe, the Marco's culinary team partnered with pizza expert Scott Wiener and toured over 15 iconic New York pizzerias, completing more than 50 rounds of testing to perfect the crust, texture, and "foldability". Product Specifications & Ingredients Size: An extra-large 16-inch pie hand-stretched thin and cut into six oversized, giant slices. Dough: Freshly prepared in-store daily and stretched extra thin using flour instead of cornmeal. Sauce: Made from bright, flavorful crushed tomatoes packaged hours after picking instead of their traditional pizza sauce. Toppings: Layered with three fresh signature cheeses and savory, extra-large New York deli-style pepperoni. Finish: Brushed with a signature garlic sauce crust and sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese.
