Do you care that the Volvo XC60 is old and should get a new generation as soon as possible? The Swedish automaker doesn’t, and it has already proved this, as it is trying to milk it for as long as possible. And that is not going to stop for at least a few more years. But not only is Volvo still milking its premium compact crossover for as long as possible, as it is now doing something quite out of the ordinary. You see, the current generation of this model recently blew nine candles off its birthday cake, and that would be enough to make most automakers consider retiring it. But not Volvo. The XC60 went under the knife in 2021, and its most recent facelift dates back to last summer. For what it’s worth, this one is now being sold in the US as a 2026 model year.
