Crowned In Many Ways was created for one of the most beautiful things about Black culture Our Hair.

As an African American woman, I've always been fascinated by the versatility of our hair. One day it's an afro, the next it's braids, twists, locs, curls, a silk press, or wrapped in a beautiful headscarf. Every style tells a story, but none of them changes who we are. We don't become someone different because we change our hair. We simply express another part of ourselves. I wrote this song because our hair has always been more than fashion. It carries history, creativity, identity, and resilience. For generations, we've adapted, created, protected, and celebrated our crowns in ways the world often misunderstood. Yet through it all, our beauty has never needed permission. My hope is that this song reminds every little girl, every young woman, and every grown woman that your crown is beautiful in every season. Wear it with confidence, wear it with joy, and wear it your way. Same royalty. Different drape. #CrownedInManyWays #BlackHair #NaturalHair #BlackGirlMagic #MelaninMagic #ProtectiveStyles #Locs #Braids #Twists #Afro #SilkPress #NaturalBeauty #BlackCulture #BlackWomen #AfricanAmerican #HairJourney #SelfLove #Identity #NeoSoul #SouthernSoul #OriginalMusic #WeSangItSoYoudHearIt #TheLegacyWeCarry
