Today is Father's Day in both Japan and France (Sunday, June 21st). I dedicate this video to Ray. For those of you who have been watching our videos on YouTube in chronological order since Yuki's birth, this video will show you a little bit of Yuki's recent appearance, but I really wanted to create a video that focuses solely on my husband and Yuki, summarizing this past year, so it ended up being this way. In our case, especially since having a child, I feel that our marital bond and our maturity as individuals have been truly tested. Yuki is a well-behaved baby who eats and sleeps well, and is easy to raise, but even so, this past year has been incredibly difficult. I think that when you have no time for yourself, your physical strength is depleted, and your emotions are overwhelmed, that's when your character and love are truly tested. But Ray always tells me, "I'll do it, you just rest." That's really not easy. Over the past two years, including my pregnancy, I've thought countless times, "I'm so glad I married this person," and "Yuki is so lucky to have him as her father." In the month of Father's Day in France, Yuki turned exactly one year old. She's now expressing her will, moving around and keeping us on our toes, which is challenging, overwhelming, adorable, and makes us love her so much...
