Russia claimed that its forces have captured the settlements of Cherneshchyna, Druzhelyubovka, and Novy Mir in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, releasing dramatic battlefield footage showing drone strikes and Russian troops raising the national flag. Moscow says the operation was carried out by the 3rd Motorised Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army and resulted in the seizure of more than five square kilometres of Ukrainian defensive positions. The ministry also claimed that Russian forces destroyed multiple Ukrainian UAV control points during the offensive.
