Cancer Scan RESULTS - What's next?

In January I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer. What this meant for me, was that I had a neuroendocrine tumour (NET) of the small intestines that had spread to my liver. This diagnosis came after a 24hr 5-HIAA urine test and a CT scan with contrast dye. I was then referred to an oncologist specialising in NETS. The hope from our first appointment was that they wanted to surgically remove all the cancer. However, to be able to formalise this plan more precise scans were needed. I had an MRI of my liver to determine the spread of the disease in the liver. I also had a specialist PET scan - a Ga-68 DOTATATE scan to see if the cancer had spread any further around my body. I received the results from the scans and the plan going forward a few days prior to the release of this video. In this video I talk through the results and my future cancer treatment plans.
