A crossword you can wear🧵Sunday New York Times Crossword - 10-29-23

The theme was meh today - a nice little nugget to notice but nothing astonishing or particularly tricky. This one was definitely enjoyable for me, but felt like a big themeless with lots of smaller words. Generally speaking, not my favorite. HOWEVER Three outstanding opportunities for me to sing while solving! 6-Down, 55-Down, and especially 78-Down were out-and-out karaoke time. I wonder: have I reached the consciousness of the constructor and editors, who think to themselves "let's put in some great rock and pop tunes so that Solve with Steve guy can go to town"?
