MIG Inductance & Push Vs. Pull Techniques | Welding Tips & Tricks #Welding #MIG #Techniques

Inductance is a setting available on certain MIG welding machines. One really practical use I have found for inductance settings is when you want to use a very low wire speed setting. Visit my store at https://weldmongerstore.com for TIG Fingers, DVDs, and other quality welding tools. A high inductance setting allows for using very low wire speed settings, while still maintaining a stable and spatter free arc. For coped tubing joints where its difficult to weld quickly, this really helps to slow the travel speed down to a point where its easier to position your body as you weld. Being able to set inductance is also helpful for achieving the "MIG like TIG" stack-of-dimes look on outside corner joints.
