David believes that even while a person is experiencing grief, loss and pain, there is still room for passion that person's life. According to David, living passionately doesn't necessarily mean a person has to go on a diet or jet off to another country and spend crazy amounts of money. The easiest, most effective way to live passionately is to make the first moments of every single day count. For many people, as soon as they jump out of bed, they run for the coffee pot or for their e-mail inbox. That is rattling to the mind and not the best way to begin a day. Spend that time getting grounded to the earth, meditating and just having quiet time. Getting centered can change your world. On top of that, a great practice to start is to have "BFD" moments every single day. "BFD" stands for "beautiful, funny and delicious moments." If you can create a beautiful moment (as simple as inhaling the sunrise or a beautiful moon), you enhance your life. If you add laughter to your life, that can heal your broken heart. If you can promise yourself some sort of deliciousness every day (like a piece of exotic chocolate, for example), you always have something to look forward to. In relationships, it is necessary for both partners to cultivate their passions individually. They have to allow each other the time to do that. On top of that, they have to cultivate their passion as a couple. David recommends that a couple consider meditating together if the relationship needs healing or to strengthen the relationship. If one partner is unwilling, the other partner can still elevate the energy, positivity and love in a relationship by meditating alone. In this Hangout On-Air, David offers a lot more insight and many more ideas for living life passionately, especially while going through a difficult time. Whether you are going through a divorce or not, the video is a really entertaining watch with some tangible take-aways you can start implementing right in this moment.
