The temporary Pull-down of the Freak Out at Botton's Pleasure Beach whilst under maintenance

So whilst I was on one of my visits to Skegness today on the 30th June 2026, I saw some maintenance being done on the biggest thrill ride attraction at Botton's Pleasure Beach; Freak Out. It was such an amazing sight to see at my fairground birthplace where I managed to capture the side arms being lowered by the built in hydraulics on the ride so maintenance can be done on the pivots, as according to general manager Jordan Powley and his maintenance staff, the pivots are being replaced. Apparently the side arms are rising back up again on Thursday (but I won't be there due to work), and the Freak Out will be back up and running this weekend. Needless to say, I feel like that I'm reliving the moment of getting pull-down footage of Mark Thurston's Chaos at Boston Fair in May and October! lol😂 #skegness #maintenance #funfair
