Swab Summer draws to a close, but for the class of 2026 their journey is just beginning. The CGA road to officer is a 200 week journey, and there will be many challenges, but also moments of triumph. Coast Guard Academy Superintendent Rear Admiral Bill Kelly recalls his swab summer, and speaks about how the program has changed since then, and how the CGA today is building leaders for tomorrow.
