In this episode, Allan and I ride the final stretch of our journey, leaving Gothenburg and making our way toward our long-awaited destination — Norway. The ride was everything we had hoped for: beautiful scenery, kind encounters with people along the way, and the overwhelming feeling that we were finally about to reach the end of this incredible adventure. But what was supposed to be one of the best days of our lives quickly turned into one of the most devastating. Along the way, I received the heartbreaking news that my beloved dog, Binky, had passed away while we were not there. As we look back on this entire journey, we realize it has taught us many lessons about courage, resilience, and chasing dreams. But this was the hardest lesson of all. Life waits for no one, and sometimes the cost of chasing a dream can be heavier than we ever imagined. This moment reminded us, once again, why we chose to take this journey in the first place — because someday is not a day on the calendar.
