Lake Argyle, Western Australia

The Kimberleys Western Australia, what a picturesque place. A side trip from the highway takes you to Lake Argyle, a man-made Lake formed in 1972 to irigate for farming at the nearby town of Kununurra. This Lake would have to be one of the best I've seen. I was intending to stay at the caravan park but it was full ,so just a day trip for here. Very much worth the detour. Kununurra was a let down re. caravan parks expensive and full anyway so I didn't stay long just keep driving until I found a free camp. Next episode I heard towards Broome with some great views too.
